Enrolling your children in a Catholic school is a partnership among the family, the parish, and the school. A Catholic school education is a privilege, and not a right. For parishioners who complete and fulfill their annual stewardship commitments, our pastor will make a good faith effort to provide for their children’s Catholic education. Specifically, what is expected of all of the families in our parish is to:
Parents of new students are required to meet with the Pastor to discuss their desire for their child to enroll at Holy Name Catholic School and discuss financial arrangements.
Catholic schools reserve the right to admit or deny admission or continued enrollment to any student, including Catholic students.
To enter the three-year- old pre-school, a child must be 3 years of age on or before August 31. To enter the four-year- old pre-school, a child must be 4 years of age on or before August 31. To enter kindergarten, a child must be 5 years of age on or before August 31. A school may assess a child’s readiness to enter kindergarten. To enter 1st grade, a child must be 6 years of age on or before August 31.
In accordance with Kansas Statute 72-5209, the Kansas Certification of Immunization form and the Child Health Assessment must be filled out and submitted to school authorities prior to admission to any Kansas School for any child up to age 8. This includes pre-school.
